Hi, I’m Holly! I’ve called York home for over 20 years, and my husband, Andy, and I now live just outside the city in the village of Stamford Bridge with our Cockapoo, Elvis, and our daughter, Grace. With over 13 years of experience in the property world, I’ve done it all—starting out as a negotiator and growing into roles that span valuing homes, managing sales progression, working with new builds, and even lettings. I love helping our clients from meeting them at their home, right through to handing over the keys and I couldn’t think of a more satisfying job!

Jordan Bacon

Hi I’m Jordan! Pop the kettle on and let’s have a brew whilst I give you a bit of an insight on me.

Now other than being an estate agent, which I’m sure you have guessed. I am also a massive foodie!!! I JUST LOVE FOOD! My day is usually planned around when and where I can have my meals and snacks and what I’m going to eat. So in my spare time, I do enjoy going out to different places and trying different foods. Other than eating food. You’ll probably find me exploring a new place. Or watching a film new or old but mainly Disney.

The thing I love about this job is the people I get to meet and getting to know their stories. I just love a good natter, so coming into your home and having a coffee and a natter is my usual way of business. Jack Pinder

I’m Jack, born and bred in York and now living in Knaresborough with my fiancée and our two foster spaniels, Ned and Gus. I’ve worked in property and estate agency for a number of years, covering York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, and Leeds and with this I comes a wealth of experience and knowledge on a variety of properties, from charming countryside homes to modern city centre apartments. Outside of work, I enjoy football, long country walks, and brewing beer.___+++

Rachel Macpherson

Hi I’m Rachel I was brought up in Rufforth just outside York. After leaving Yorkshire as an adventurous teen, I settled in London where my property career started over 20 years ago, then returned to Yorkshire to make sure my children were brought up here! When I’m not working I love cooking for family and friends, hosting parties, bbq’s, wine nights or just afternoons in the garden with kids, food and drinks. In my home you will always find the door open, friends and family inside and children running in and out.

I was a Partner at a national Estate Agents and worked in both London and Yorkshire as Head of Residential Sales and Lettings.

I just love people’s homes. They are all so different! Some immaculate, some chaotic, some works of art, others work in progress- the one thing they all share is history, a story, and I would LOVE to hear yours and help you begin your next chapter.

I want to give you honest advice based on years of experience and the very best service with the aim of making the process as stress free, exciting and enjoyable as possible!

Rebekah Try FNAEA

Hi, I’m Rebekah. Born and raised in York, I have lived in and around the city all my life. With over 25 years of experience in the property industry, assisting both sellers and buyers through what can be a daunting process moving home, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight.

My career has taken me from carrying out market appraisals with a local York estate agent, to progressing into a Branch Manager role, and ultimately running my own self-employed franchise estate agency for more than 17 years.

I pride myself on delivering exceptional customer service and offering a truly personal, one-to-one experience.  Honesty, transparency, integrity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping clients move home are at the heart of everything I do.

Andy Lickiss

Hi, I’m Andy! While my official title is Operations Director, I like to think of myself as the guy who helps keep everything running behind the scenes. Whether it’s supporting the team or sorting out the little details that make a big difference, I’m always happy to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in.

When I’m not at work, you’ll probably find me spending time with my daughter or walking the dog. I am a DIY enthusiast and can turn my hand to most projects, so this tends to keep me busy!

What I love most about being part of the Price team is the people – both the fantastic team I get to work with and the amazing clients we meet every day. Hearing people’s stories and helping them take the next step in their journey is what makes this role so rewarding.

Oh, and if there’s coffee involved, even better – I’m always up for a brew and a chat!

Sophie Baker

Hello! My name is Sophie, I am a Yorkshire lass and grew up just outside of York near Stamford Bridge I have now moved to Driffield where I stated my estate agency career, before joining the Price team in February 2024. My role at Price estate agents is Sales Negotiator, I love helping you find your perfect home and finding the best buyer for all our clients. Day to day I conduct viewings and negotiate the best price for your home, It doesn’t stop there I love how the job is so versatile, and my favourite part is building relationships with our clients. On a day off you will find me riding my horse Bali and doing jobs at the stable. I also spending time with family and friends especially when it involves dining, and I also enjoy a cheeky cocktail. I don’t like early mornings and washing up in the office!

Gem Stevens

Hi, I’m Gem and the newest recruit at Price HQ. I’m from York and have lived in many places across the city, but always migrate back to the northside which is where I grew up. My Role at Price is very much customer service based which I love! Day to day you’ll find me doing admin roles including negotiating sales, speaking with potential sellers and buyers, and making sure we are communicating with all parties. I also enjoy getting out and doing viewings too. There’s lots of variety working here, and things move quickly which keeps everyday fun. I have always had a passion for houses and people and now I get to combine them both, finding that special home for someone who’s starting a new journey.

My spare time is spent with my family, I have 3 boys and a stepson, you can find me on the beach or in a park. I love a theatre show or concert with friends. I’m also a keen home cook and am happiest in my kitchen cooking and baking or throwing together a cocktail. Things I don’t like…. Freezing weather and grumpy people.

Lauren Grant

Hi, I’m Lauren and I’ve been living in York my whole life. I currently live in Easingwold with my beautiful cat, Mullins. I’ve been working as a negotiator since 2024 but have been in property since 2022.

I love a gin, all animals, reading books and watching films in my spare time!

Barney Shortman

Hi, I’m Barney and I help make your property look its best when you are ready to sell! Photography and videography have been passions of mine for many years now, and I’m happiest with a camera in my hand capturing unique properties with the Price team or recording special moments with my family.

When I’m not shooting houses, you’ll find me walking my dog Alfie, wrestling my three children, eating biscuits or enjoying some rare quiet time with my wife Steph.

Elvis The Dog

Say hello to Elvis, the fluffiest (and arguably most loved) member of the Price Independent Estate Agents team! Elvis is a 5-year-old black Cockapoo with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Elvis takes his role as the official greeter very seriously, always ready to welcome clients and visitors with a wagging tail and a cheerful bark. Whether you’re popping in for a chat or a property consultation, Elvis will ensure you feel right at home.

When he’s not on meet-and-greet duty, Elvis loves lounging on the laps of team members, staying close to the action. He’s convinced he’s an honorary estate agent, often “overseeing” meetings and adding a sprinkle of joy to the office atmosphere. And of course, treats are always welcome – they’re his favourite way to recharge after a hard day’s work!
